Places To Visit Locally

We are located in a beautiful part of the world and there is loads to see and do around here.

We are putting together a list of local favourites that are child friendly but fun for parents too in and around South Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.

So when you're done looking at pushchairs there are plenty of other places you can go and have fun or maybe just relax.

Visit Wallingford Castle

Wallingford Castle Meadows

Wallingford Castle Meadows covers some 16.6 hectares on the banks of the River Thames in Wallingford. The meadows contain the site of Wallingford Castle which has a long and complex history. All that remains of the castle are two sections of wall which are Grade 1 listed and the bank and ditch earthworks which form part of the Scheduled Ancient Monument.

Wittenham Clumps
OX14 4QZ - Free Car Park

The much-loved Wittenham Clumps are one of South Oxfordshire’s most iconic landmarks. Standing proudly beside the Thames they offer stunning views over the surrounding countryside; they are the most highly visited free to access greenspace in the region. I have been there many times and it is a magical place full of history. The views from the top are quite spectacular.
